The hunt is on for a prisoner who escaped from the Nadi Magistrates Court yesterday afternoon.
Assistant Police PRO Corporal Josaia Weicavu said Nacanieli Vakatawa of Wailoaloa, Nadi, who was charged with robbery, escaped after the Magistrate remanded him in custody to appear in court on the 5th next month.
Police are calling on people to immediately contact police or call 919 if they have any information about Nacanieli's whereabouts.
