Police have now started a major man hunt for the three men who allegedly kidnapped and raped a 37-year-old woman of Suva yesterday morning.

Police confirm the woman was kidnapped at 9.30 yesterday morning from Victoria Parade in Suva.

It is alleged the three men came in a black private car, pushed her inside and took her to an isolated place in Naboro.

Police said that upon reaching Naboro one of the men allegedly raped her while the two guarded the car.

The three then took the victim to Sigatoka. The woman reported that two of them later went to buy beer and another went to relieve himself. At that time the woman was alone and managed to free herself.

Police say she somehow informed her family about the incident and made her way to Navua. Her family members later picked her up from Navua.
