Police are investigating the discovery of human bones in Enamanu, Nadi today.
Assistant Police Spokesperson Sergeant Suliano Tevita confirmed a 55 year old famer discovered a human skull in his sugarcane farm this afternoon.
The farmer reported the matter to Nadi Police and upon search Police Officers managed to discover more human bones.
Police also managed to discover a pair of three quarter pants with the bones.
Sergeant Tevita said they believe the bones are of a female.
According to Tevita they are now trying to analyze their records of missing persons in the Western Division.
The bones will be brought to Suva tomorrow for pathologist examination.
