Nausori Police are investigating the discovery of a human skull and some bones in Sawani yesterday.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern, ASP Ramesh Chand has confirmed that the skull and the bones were discovered by a couple who went to collect firewood from the bushes.
The Police forensic team has collected the samples from the scene.
According to police a rope and some clothes have also been found.
Police are calling on the public for information.
