The Fiji Fashion Week kick started last night with a huge display of designs from young and upcoming designers who used the natural surrounding as motivation for their clothes.
Opening the way was Miss South pacific 2009, Merewalesi Nailatikau who showcased the designs of Caroleena Bingham whose designs focused on elegant wear with the theme "Come Play With Me."
One of the new artists Pritinesh Singh who is also a doctor and lecturer by profession said the Fashion Show opens the mind of the public to the beautiful art around them.
Today is the chance for guests to witness more designs from emerging artists like Aliyah Jan, Amelia Soqonavere as well as Elaine Taylor.
