The Housing Authority is looking at creating a new Waila City center which is expected to cater the housing needs of 5000 people.
Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Shirley Tagi said housing needs has increased over the past few years adding that Waila city will be located between the Suva-Nausori corridor and Waqadra in Nadi.
Meanwhile Tagi said the authority is also carrying out a Housing Eligibility survey to determine if people are still interested in purchasing land and houses.
