Good news for the public as the Housing Authority has opened up an office in the heart of the capital city today.

Chairman for the Housing Authority, Lt Colonel Pio Tikoduadua in his address to those gathered at the opening said that this will allow better access to Housing services and is part of Governments commitment for better housing under the Peoples Charter.

Chief Guest, Aiyaz Sayed Khaiym said with recent survey showing that close to 40% of the people on the country living on or below the poverty line, more needs to be done to address the issue of affordable hosuing.

The New Housing Authority office will deal with sales enquiries, loan processing and also has cashier service.
