Hotels and resorts around the country are enjoying very high occupancy levels with some saying September is shaping up to be a record month in terms of visitor arrivals.
From the Coral coast in Sigatoka to the Mamanuca Group in the Yasawa's, the tourism industry is thriving as thousands of visitors flock to Fiji especially with the current Australian school holidays underway.
Outrigger on the Lagoon General Manager Peter Hopgood said bookings into the festive season also look promising.
General Manager of Plantation Island Resort Daven Sharma said there seems to be changing trends in terms of visitor arrivals.
Naviti resorts General Manager Paulin Chua said they have seen visitors from around the world visiting their property along the Coral coast.
Fiji Hotel and Resort Operators Association President Dixon Seeto said these are very positive signs of the industry and they remain on target of attracting over 600,000 visitors to our shores this year.
