Despite being in the off peak period, many hotels and resorts around the country are still enjoying very high occupancy levels.
Fiji Hoteliers Association President Dixon Seeto said this is a very positive sign for the industry and a testimony that their advertising and discount campaigns are working.
Some of the emerging tourism markets include China and India which recored over 100 percent increase in visitors compared to last year for the month of February this year.
