Hotels in the country have not been affected by the supplies of fruits and vegetables after most farms in the "Salad Bowl of Fiji" Sigatoka, were affected by the recent floods.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Fiji Islands Hotels Association Dixon Seeto said they have had to import from overseas, but that will only be for the short term.
Seeto added the Association understands local farmers are trying their best to get re-establish themselves and should not be worried about their importing of vegetables from overseas as the various hotels will be buying from them once their farms are back in operation.
