In an to provide the best holiday for families, the five star Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji resort has ventured into providing Nanny services for young children for the first time.

General Manager, Peter Hopgood, said Fijians are renowned for their friendliness and love of children so they have used this to ensure that they provide parents with a relaxed holiday in the country.

The Resort which won the 2009 Travelers Choice Awards for the Best Resort for Families in the South Pacific, has so far employed 6 women in the Meimei Nanny Service with more expected to be  employed by June 15.

Under the Meimei service, the young children will be have fun activities and cultural education.

This is the third type of activity planned by the resort with the first being the Outrigger kids clubs, Little Riggers for 3-7 year olds and Beach Riggers for 8-12 year olds.
