A hotel operator from Kadavu said they are often forgotten and is asking for more recognition of what they can offer as a tourist destination.
Matana Beach Resort, also known as Dive Kadavu, Manager Merewalesi Cooksley said while they have been recording good tourist numbers for the past few months, one thing they have noticed is that promotional campaigns that target the outer islands is not that high.
Cooksley said she hopes this will change this year.
