The Tanoa Group of Hotels has teamed up with the Fiji Prisons and Corrections Service in providing professional assistance in a cooking class for inmates, starting from today.

The cooking lessons are aimed at empowering them with useful skills that can assist the inmates in finding productive employment when they are released from prison.

Tanoa Plaza's Head Chef will be overseeing the two-week course which will be conducted at the Suva Prison's Bure.

At the end of the two weeks, the inmates will cook for their mothers who will be invited to sample the final dishes on May 31st.
