A state of the Art hospital is being constructed in Suva and will soon be providing services to the people.
The existing Waimanu Road Medical Center is being upgraded and will be known as the Suva Bay View Medical Center.
The Hospital's Laboratory Director Arveen Chandra said the thought of putting up a new private hospital came up as other hospital charges in the country are very high putting a lot of burden on people who cannot afford to pay.
Chandra said the 15 bed Suva Bay View Medical Centre will also cater for kidney patients which will also have the first ever Dialysis Machine.
The New Hospital will consist of general and all specialist clinics, general surgeries, obstetrics and gynecological service, ENT and Urological services. The Hospital is expected to officially open by January end next year.
