People need to understand that doctors and hospital staff also need time off during the weekends.
These are the words of Interim Health Minister Dr Jiko Luveni on concerns raised on the lack of timely service delivery at the Accident and Emergency Unit at the CWM hospital.
Luveni adds the shortage of doctors and service delivery on weekends has been made known.
CWM General Manager, Dr Eloni Tora also said people must first understand how the ANU works in hospitals adding that they work according to a Triage System, whereby the most severe cases are seen first, while the less severe cases can take up to 24 hours to be tended to.
Tora adds complaints about service delivery or the lack of it must be sent in written form to him before he can further comment on the matter. Please call us if you have been affected by the service delivery at the hospitals.
