Waratahs captain Michael Hooper and Coach Daryl Gibson believe it doesn't get any better than travelling to Cape Town to face the best South African Super Rugby team at the moment.

They say there is a buzz about the squad after a massive win in Perth and they are keen to get a gauge on where they sit in the Super Rugby pecking order.

They will be tested in their biggest challenge of the year against the Stormers.

NSW have been a punching bag for criticism in the first half of their slow season, but a resounding win against the Force in Perth is B as Hooper claims B proof they aren't as far off the mark as some people might think.

The Waratahs play the Stormers at 5.10am this Sunday.
