The Samabula Old People's Home gets a little over $40,000 each year to cater for the senior citizens who have been neglected by their families.
Superintendent Ema Butukiviti said the funding they get is not enough to cater for the needs of those who are staying there.
Butukiviti has called on business people and individuals to provide them assistance when they can.
