Home crowd proves vital for Tavua
The home crowd advantage proved vital for the Tavua side as Nadroga lacked the fighting spirit in today's match.
The rest of the games in the league competition will be played tomorrow between Lautoka/Rewa, Nasinu/Navua and Nadi/Labasa.
Meanwhile, the National Soccer League title has unofficially slipped away from the hands of Ba.
This is after the league champions suffered their fourth loss in the league competition going down 1-0 to Labasa last night at Govind Park.
Ba currently lies in second place with 32 points and only has two games in hand while Lautoka and Navua have 5 and 6 games left respectively.
This means that either Lautoka or Navua will become the new National League Champions this season. Ba will now have to win the Courts Homecentres IDC in October to defend the Champion vs Champion soccer series title next season.
The Men In Black Ba have so far played in every CVC series since it started in 1993.
