Private security firm Home Land Security, which is made up of former reserves of the RFMF, has been awarded a $320,000 contract by Fiji Ports Cooperation to provide security at all ports around the country.

In a statement, Fiji Ports Chairman Semi Koroi-lavesau said Homeland Security was selected out of the 10 companies following a tender process.

Koroi-lavesau said Homeland was the only company to have met the international standards.
