Brisbane Broncos captain Justin Hodges and forward Adam Blair have failed to prove their fitness and will therefore miss out for tonight’s NRL round 9 clash with the Sydney Roosters.
Broncos coach, Wayne Bennett has confirmed that neither player had overcome their injury concerns and Brisbane would go in with the same squad named earlier in the week.
Their absence is a blow as the Broncos prepare to play a Roosters outfit keen to redeem themselves after an upset loss to Cronulla in the last round.
The Broncos will meet the Roosters at 9.35 tonight while the Sharks will also play the Knights at 9.35pm.
