The sports hockey received a timely boost today with Morris Hedstrom coming on board with a $10,000 dollars sponsorship.
The first tournament which they will assist is the MH Fiji Open Tournament which will feature the Hedstrom Shield for men and women which will take place in Suva this Fiji Day weekend.
In assisting to lift hockey to new heights a Northern India Districts team will add an international flavor to this weekend's tournament.
The competition will start this Saturday.
