What started as a hobby in gardening is now a source of income for 73 year old Laisa Nai-valulevu who is selling plants at one of the 135 booths at the Fiji Showcase 2010.
Naivalulevu said she would do gardening in the past as a hobby but now that she is retired, she has taken up selling plants as a source of income and she said besides that it has kept her healthy and happy doing what she loves as a living.
Some of the plants on sale at her stall at the Fiji showcase 2010 include orchids, Anthuriums and red palms.
Meanwhile, Siliva Nasaqu who owns Siliva's Nursery at Garden City said her booth is selling at special prices only at the showcase.
The Fiji showcase gates open at 12pm and close at 9pm the Vodafone Arena.
