Police have managed to identify the vehicle which was involved in the hit and run accident in Wainibokasi, Nausori, yesterday.
Deputy Director Police Operations SP Erami Raibe has confirmed that after gathering statements from a few people in relation to the accident, it has been established that the vehicle is a white sedan taxi, however no further details have been released.
Meanwhile, police are calling on members of the public to visit their nearest police station if any one of their family members have been missing from home.
The call comes after the man who was involved in a hit and run accident in Wainibokasi, Nausori, early yesterday morning remains unidentified.
The man's situation has not improved and he remains admitted in critical condition at the CWM hospital.
