It is history verse destiny in the Super Rugby final on Saturday night in Brisbane.

The Reds will be chasing their first ever title in their first ever final against the Crusaders.

The seven time champions will be playing their 10th Super Rugby final.

The travel factor favours the hosts, with the Crusaders, who have now traveled over 100,000km throughout this season of theirs, having to make the long trip from South Africa to Australia.

But in a season where they have not played a single game in their home city, one more big trip, one more big effort should not be beyond the abilities of a Crusaders side that is giving a pretty good impression of a side on a mission.

Reds captain James Horwill said his boys are chasing to write a new chapter in the history of Super Rugby but they know the Crusaders are looking to fulfill their destiny in the most exciting season a side has ever faced.
