It is a historic day today as the new Fiji Airways A330 will enter our airspace in the next hour.
Before the new airbus left Hong Kong last night, Fijivillage spoke to 23 year old Paula Nabuta who is one of the first Fijians boarding the new aircraft.
Nabuta who is a member of the Kabu ni Vanua Dance group said this will be a moment that he will remember for the rest of his life.
He describes the plane with its unique masi designs.

The Kabu ni Vanua Dance group, together with the President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau were part of the 200 people that welcomed the arrival of the aircraft in Hong Kong yesterday.
Meanwhile, Air Pacific Spokesperson Shane Hussein said the flyover plan will allow Fijians the chance to look up into the sky and be proud to call the A330 their own.

The anticipated flyover times for Sigatoka is around 9:15am
along Pacific Harbour at 9:25am, Suva at 9:40 am,
Koro at 9:56am, Up North in Taveuni from 10:15am , Savusavu at 10:30am, Labasa 10:40am then onto the West where the A330 will fly over Rakiraki from 11:04am, Ba from 11:12 am, Lautoka 11;20am, Nadi at 11:22am and the anticipated touch-down is at 11:30am.
Air Pacific is also reminding the public that if the weather is unfavorable the flyover will not occur over certain areas.
In Suva the best locations to sight the A330 and it=s intricate designs will be at the sea wall area from the Bowling Club close to the National Stadium.
Meanwhile the second and third A330's will arrive in May and November respectively.
The A330 200s are the first brand new wide body aircraft ever purchased by the 60 year old national airline, and they are valued in the Airbus catalogue at a price of 200 million US dollars each.
