A resident of Tabia in Labasa, Brijesh Chand said people of all races come together to celebrate this occasion in his area.
Meanwhile, Rakesh Kumar of Lautoka also said it’s very encouraging to see many indigenous Fijians playing musical instruments and singing religious songs in different groups.
The holy book, the Ramayana is based on the life of Lord Rama who was born in Ayodhya thousands of years ago.
Ram Naumi, a weeklong celebration will end next Friday.
