The Highlanders will be without Lima Sopoaga for tomorrow’s game against the Reds.
Sopoaga hasn’t trained with the Highlanders this week after returning home to Wellington to spend time with his sick father.
The Highlanders will also be without Shane Christie, who continues to struggle with a hamstring injury, prop Pingi Tala’apitaga, second-five Shaun Treeby and winger Richard Buckman, who all have knee problems.
Tala’apitaga’s absence is compounded by Kane Hames’ five week suspension for punching, leaving the Highlanders with only four available props.
The Highlanders will meet the Reds at 6.35pm tomorrow.
