The Highlanders have qualified for the Super Rugby playoffs by beating the Jaguares 34-8 with a bonus point in Buenos Aires.
They move up to 48 points in the standings with one round remaining and cannot be overtaken by the Brumbies or the Waratahs who both have 39 points.
The Highlanders outscored the Jaguares by four tries to one in the match which earned them the bonus point.
The defending super rugby champions led 24-8 at halftime.
In other Super Rugby results, the Crusaders thrashed the Rebels 85-26, the Hurricanes beat the Waratahs 28-17, the Stormers beat Western Force 22-3, the Bulls thrashed the Sunwolves 50-3, Sharks defeated the Cheetahs 26-10.
On Friday, the Chiefs had beaten the Reds 50-5, the Blues defeated the Brumbies 40‑15 and the Lions also thrashed the Southern Kings 57-21.
