Highlanders first five-eighth Robbie Robinson is facing an internal disciplinary hearing after being arrested in Dunedin early yesterday morning.

Robinson was pepper sprayed by police, arrested and held in a police cell after the incident.

Highlanders general manager Roger Clark said Robinson was walking home when he got into a scuffle with another person.

Clark said the Highlanders were disappointed with the incident and action would be taken.

Robinson had come off the bench to feature in the Highlanders 44-13 loss to the Crusaders at Carisbrooke on Saturday evening.
