Highlanders fullback Ben Soso struck two second half penalty goals to help overcome the Knights 11-9 in round four of the Colonial Cup at Ratu Cakabau Park last night. The win takes the Highlanders to the top of the points table.

The Knights started as the stronger team and two penalty goals from flyhalf James Vuli gave them a 6-0 lead at the breather.

Highlanders coach Josua Toakula said their fitness contributed a lot to the win and the other contributing factor that helped them was that they played disciplined rugby compared to the Knights.

In today's Colonial Cup matches at 3pm the Stallions host the Sharks at Lawaqa park and the Crusaders meet the Bligh Roosters at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
