Higher education is essential in every country in the world.
That's the view of Grahame McCulloch, the board member of Education International, the world body representing the voice of 30 million teachers and education workers worldwide.
Speaking at the Fijian teachers Annual General Meeting today, McCulloch said it's important for a country such as Fiji to improve Higher education in the globalised economy.
Mc Culloch also highlighted problems faced by some developing countries in maintaining a Higher education system.
