17 players have put their hands up for selection for the Dubai 7s.

Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan believes it will not be an easy decision to make as new players have proved themselves during training.

Nemani Nagusa is expected to fill the big shoes of Semi Kunatani.

Other new players that have been outstanding include Nadroga fly half Alivereti Veitokani, Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Emori Waqa.

The other players who are in the extended squad are Pio Tuwai, Isake Katonibau, Viliame Mata, Jasa Veremalua, Apisai Domolailai,

Eminoni Nasilasila, Osea Kolinisau, Vatemo Ravouvou, Kitione Taliga, Jerry Tuwai, Savenaca Rawaca, Waisea Nacuqu and Emosi Mulevoro.

Ryan will name his 12 players for the Dubai 7s at 11am tomorrow.

Fiji will meet Canada at 6pm on December 4th, they will then take on Japan at 9pm on December 4th before facing Argentina at 3.28am on December 5th.

South Africa is the defending champion of the Dubai 7s after thrashing Australia 33-7 in the final last year.
