Naitasiri High Chief Ratu Inoke Takiveikata is still admitted at the Suva Private Hospital.
His wife, Adi Lagamu Vuiyasawa said doctors will decide this week whether he will undergo an operation either here in Fiji or overseas.
Vuiyasawa refused to say what medical condition the Qaranivalu has, which requires an operation.
Meanwhile, businessman Ballu Khan is still at the Private Hospital and it's not known when he will be released.
His Queens Counsel from Auckland went back to New Zealand last month after suing the state $40 million for wrongful confinement and assault.
