Henry unsure how McCaw’s foot will hold up
Speaking after naming his run-on team, Henry said that come Sunday he will be able to say something since McCaw has been rested in two of the pool games.
Henry was asked whether wing Richard Kahui and fullback Israel Dagg have been rested knowing that Argentina is the weakest of all the quarterfinal qualifiers, he said that this is sudden death rugby and they have some surprises in the lineup.
As for Sonny Bill Williams on the wing, Henry believes that this is Test rugby where they need players who can deliver the results they want.
Meanwhile, Fijian born number 8, Radike Samo has been named in the Wallabies team to play against South Africa in the quarterfinal on Sunday.
Samo who started on the wing in the last pool game against Russia has been moved to his favourite spot again to make way for Digby Ioane who returns from injury.
Also returning to inside center is Pat McCabe who has been rested in the last two pool matches.
The likes of captain James Horwill, David Pocock, Will Genia, Quade Cooper, Adam Ashley Cooper, James O’Connor and Kurtly Beale are in the lineup.
In the quarterfinals tomorrow, Ireland will play Wales in Wellington at 5pm.
France will play England at Eden Park at 7.30pm.
Australia will play South Africa in Wellington on Sunday at 5pm and the All Blacks will face Argentina at Eden Park on Sunday night at 7.30pm.
