In an effort to rescue the drowning Blues, former All Blacks coach Graham Henry has now stepped in to help Pat Lam after the Blues dismal performance lately.

Henry took time to visit Lam and his family last week and he offered his thoughts on the struggles he had endured during his time with Wales and the British and Irish Lions and, more particularly, when he fought hard to retain his All Blacks job against a public outcry after the 2007 World Cup disaster.

The Blues will face the Highlanders at 7:35pm this Friday before the Reds take on the Stormers at 9:40pm.
