All Blacks coach Graham Henry was not mincing his words as he laid the challenge at Colin Slade’s feet for the opening test against the Flying Fijians on Friday.
The young Canterbury and Highlanders first five eighth will earn just his second test cap and make his first start in the black jersey.
Slade knows that the task on his hands is not easy but he is confident he can deliver.
For new cap, Jarrad Hoeata he knows why he is in the team and is out to maintain his physical game against the Fijians.
The All Blacks and Fiji game kicks-off on Friday at 7.35pm.
