Waikato rugby coach Tony Hanks has tinkered with his backline to stem the teams losing streak in the Air NZ Cup competition with Fiji's very own Henry Speight breaking his way into the starting 15.

Hanks today named Speight to debut for the Province on the right wing against Manawatu in Palmerston North on Thursday night.

The inclusion of 20 year old Speight, originally from Tailevu, sees Sosene Anesi move to fullback and a new midfield.

Hanks said they have resisted the chance to make wholesome changes this week and are giving a number of players a chance to redeem themselves after two losses.
