The help should come from the Interim Government first.
These are the words of Former Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase in relation to the attacks on the Fiji Red Cross Society for their relief efforts to those affected by the floods, in that they handed out relief packs to families but no food, which people are running out of and desperately need.
Qarase said the Society are contributing alot during this time adding the real effort should come from the Interim Government first.
Qarase said the Society does not have all the resources available and are doing what they can, where they can.
