Expect to see us back again next year.
Fiji soccer rep and Lautoka striker Osea Vakatalesau whose Hekari United side lost 3-nil in the FIFA Club World Cup to UAE Al Wahda FC said that after getting a taste of international soccer they will be back.
Hekari United defied the odds and despite being ranked 203rd in the world, made it through to the FIFA Club World Cup and Vakatalesau said this is a preview of what Pacific island countries are capable of.
He said that though the PNG side were not professionals like the other teams, nothing is impossible.
Hekari United which has the services of five Fiji based players like Vakatalesau, Pita Bolaitoga, Simione Tamanisau, Malakai Tiwa and Alvin Singh will be regrouping for the O-League season next year.
Meanwhile, in the FIFA Club World Cup, the semi finals will get underway tomorrow in the United Arab Emirates.
