The Digicel Fiji 7s coach Waisale Serevi said the next few weeks will be very hectic for the 16-players vying for a spot in the 12 member team for the Wellington and San Diego 7s tournaments.

He said the players will have to undergo intensive training to be physically fit after they lacked speed in the first leg of the IRB World 7s Series in Dubai and George.

Serevi said as coach he has to do a lot of work and make sure before the team flies out at the end of January, they are physically and mentally fit and ready to win the Wellington 7s title.

Serevi is also hoping that players may have utilised the training programme on their break before returning to camp next week.
