The Boxing Commission of Fiji’s vacant heavy weight title is at stake on the 18th of this month when former champion Mosese Kavika fights the upcoming Petero Qica at Prince Charles park in Nadi.

Promoter Abdul Khan said after a lapse of many years he has decided to stage this fight between the undefeated Qica and Kavika who have been in the boxing circle over the last 10 years.

Qica was brought up by the late Sunia Cama and has not tasted defeat since turning professional with wins against Fatu Tuimanono and Alifereti Qiolele.

For Kavika this could be his last fight where he will have to prove that he can still last the distance against a fighter who is much younger than him.

Also in the main supporting bout, Junior Farzan Ali will fight Parmod Pillay for the welter weight title while Joy Ali will face Joe Nalega in another fight.
