Heavy rainfall in Rakiraki has resulted in flash floods in Rakiraki Town.
People are advised to keep monitoring water levels as high tide is expected in the next few hours.
Former MP, Sanjeet Maharaj said roads have been closed due to the floods while flood waters have already started to seep into shops.
