Heavy rain warning remains in force

A heavy rain warning previously in force for Northern Yasawa group is now being cancelled but remains in force for Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller Island, Lau, Lomaiviti group and Northeast Viti Levu.

An active trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain remains slow moving over the group till late tomorrow. 

Periods of rain and few squally thunderstorms over Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti group and northeast Viti Levu. 

Rain gradually easing from the north.
