Heavy rain being experienced in Rakiraki and Tavua is expected to ease later today.
The Nadi weather forecasters said heavy rain fall is expected to move to the north and wind direction is changing to the South to south west of the group.
Rain in Nadi is also expected to ease and will pick up later tomorrow.
The tropical depression is moving to the far south east of the group.
