Heavy rain overnight has resulted in the closure of some roads in the Central Division this morning.
Roads department's Atunaisa Nayago said the Naqali bridge and other roads in the area are now closed to traffic.
Police also warn people from Naitasiri who want to come down and watch boxing this afternoon to take extra precautions and should refrain from trying to cross the flooded bridge.
Nadi Weather Office director Rajendra Prasad said a trough of low pressure is lying over northern parts of the country which is expected to bring in more heavier rainfall later today which may cause flash flooding in the Central Division mainly in Navua, Suva and Nausori.
Meanwhile, the Nadi Weather Office has confirmed earlier that at least three tropical cyclones are expected to form near the Fiji group before the end of cyclone season next month.
