People have been experiencing heavy rain and strong winds in Rakiraki since this morning.
Rakiraki police say heavy rain has resulted in the flooding of low lying areas while the Qalau Bridge, Rewasa and Korotale Irish Crossings, are under two to three feet of flood waters and are closed to all traffic.
Police are calling on Motorists to take extra precaution while on the road.
