A 49 year old man is admitted in Labasa hospital after his neighbour allegedly hit his leg with a piece of timber on Friday night.
The incident occurred at Namara settlement during a heated argument between the victim and the suspect over theft of eggplants from the suspect’s farm.
Police said after interviewing the victim they will take in the neighbour for questioning. A medical report is expected to be forwarded to police soon.
