A hearing date has been set to hear the case against a former Senior Education Officer, Joe Hewson Turaganisau.
FICAC charged Turaganisau on the 28th September, 2009 with 33 counts of forgery, uttering forged documents and obtaining money by virtue of a forged instrument.
As the Principal signatory of Ratu Emeri Catholic Primary school where three signatories are needed to withdraw money, Turagasau allegedly forged the signature of Ratu Peni Rasagare on 11 different occasions between September and December 2002.
He then collected a sum of over $13,000 for his own use.
The date is set for hearing on the 25th January, next year.
