The Ministry of Health officials are visiting villages and communities in Cakaudrove, Taveuni and Ra Province for their typhoid vaccination program.
The Ministry advised that anyone who is 2 years and above are to be vaccinated and this immunization is given to protect the person from getting typhoid germ and become unwell.
The program will go for the whole month and people living in these areas are advised to get immunized since these are the places that recorded a high number of Typhoid cases.
The vaccination program is funded by Aus Aid.
