The Ministry of Health, together with Fiji Health Sector Program and World Health Organization will be in Taveuni this week for the vaccination program against Typhoid.
Health Ministry spokesman Iliesa Tora said this will take a month to be completed and they are targeting 17,000 people in Taveuni and Cakaudrove.
Tora said because of the high number of reported cases in the past for the Northern Division the Health Ministry wants to highlight the importance of practicing good hygiene.
